Viagra changed the way that we thought about medicine. Prescription drugs used to be things that we failed to finish, as the doctor ordered. Now, at least some, have made enough of a difference in our lives that we look forward to taking them. Viagra is only the first of many lifestyle enhancement drugs that the pharmaceutical companies have introduced, or are researching.

It may seem strange to some that our drug companies are working on how to obtain a rock hard erection, but for the people who haven’t been able to have one, it makes all the difference. Interest in Viagra and other performance enhancement drugs has also fueled debate about natural alternatives to male enhancement. Herbal medicine has long been viewed as a science in Asia. Given the fact that they live some of the longest lives, and because Viagra has demonstrated some bad side effects, people are beginning to use herbals to replace Viagra.
